Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 got its WiFi certification last week and now it’s time for its Bluetooth certification, as it edges closer to launch time. The new Samsung flagship tablet has received the “blessing” of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) and a bunch of leaks also confirmed its specs, after the break.

For the past year we’ve kept hearing about this model, expected to debut at IFA 2016 for example, but it didn’t come through. Times have been tough for tablets, so maybe that’s why Sammy hesitates to debut the product. With Bluetooth SIG and WiFi Alliance out of the way, the FCC is probably the last step of certification before debut time, unless that already happened behind the scenes.

Rumors talk about a Super AMOLED screen for this model with a 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 CPU inside, of the octa core kind. The CPU relies on an Adreno 510 GPU and the slate also brings 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and two cameras, an 8 MP back shooter and 2 MP front cam. For some reason I expect higher resolutions for both cams. It’s just a hunch.

The battery is rumored to have a 4000 mAh capacity, although that sounds a bit small in my view. Android 7.0 Nougat should be the OS with a fresh twist on TouchWiz. These are all rumors and we expect a MWC launch.
