On October 6th, Microsoft announced beside the new Surface Pro 4, a first Surface notebook too, device called Surface Book. Until today, you could buy the 512 GB SSD variant, but starting now, Microsoft adds a 1 TB version that can be coupled with an Intel Core i7 processor. Apparently, the new variant will cost you around $3199 and it might be shipped in about 8 weeks.
When it comes to other hardware specs, this notebook manages to offer a great 13.5 inch display with the PixelSense technology, a touchscreen one with 3000 x 2000 resolution. We’re getting a Surface Pen included and Windows 10 Pro operating system pre-installed on the device.
Microsoft Surface Book arrives with a 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor, two full-size USB 3.0 ports, a SD card reader, a mini DisplayPort and front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Audio technology. The cheapest variant for the Surface Book is priced at $1499 and packs a 128 GB SDD, 8 GB of RAM and Intel Core i5 CPU.
