Among the best tablets on the market when it comes to gaming, we have in the first place the NVIDIA Shield Tablet, a slate designed for gaming purposes. However, not everything seems to be perfect with this device, as Nvidia itself let us know. The bad element here is the battery found inside the tablet, a unit that might explode into the flames.

In order to fix this problem, Nvidia is recalling all those tablets sold between July 2014 and July 2015, all of them sold on the market to be exactly. If your tablet has any problem with the battery, you’ll receive back your device with a new battery inside. In numbers, it seems that 83.000 tablets in US and 5.000 in Canada are affected by this matter.

Nvidia advises us to stop using these tablets until we get a battery replacement, in order to avoid possible explosions or damages to our body or house. As you already know, this tablet brings a 8 inch Full HD display, a quad-core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot.
