Another week, another company to discover, related to tablets and portable devices. This time it’s IRU we discovered and they have a new tablet out, called B1003GW and shown below. This is a 10.1 incher that runs Windows and seems to involve a keyboard accessory.
Inside we find a quad core Intel Bay Trail-T Z3735E processor, clocked at up to 1.8 GHz in turbo mode. There’s also 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a SIM card slot and two cameras. There’s a front and back 2 MP camera and the OS here is Windows 8.1 with Bing. We also get preinstalled Office 365 Personal, with a 1 year subscription. IRU B1003GW has a full keyboard with touchpad and other specs include the above mentioned screen, with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and IPS panel, plus built in stereo speakers and microphone.
The tablet weighs 590 grams, measures 10.5 mm in thickness, which is not exactly thick in these conditions and there’s also a 7900 mAh battery on board. Intel HD graphics are available here, plus WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB, HDMI and an accelerometer.
