HP has a fresh device unveiled recently, one that combines the idea of a tablet with the one of a laptop. The device is called HP Spectre 13 X2 and it’s based on Windows 8. You can check it out below in a hands on done by Laptopmag.
The product is priced at $1,100+ and it’s the thinnest and lightest hybrid that HP has ever released. It will hit the stores on October 16th and this 2 in 1 machine adopts a fanless design. It uses an aluminum chassis and weighs 4.5 pounds in laptop mode. The hybrid is equipped with a 13.3 inch Full HD Radiance screen, that looks sharp, according to people who saw it.
On board you can find HP’s TrueVision HD webcam and specs include a Core i3 or i5 Haswell CPU and between 4 and 8 GB of RAM. Storage options include a 64 GB and 128 GB SSD. HP claims that you get up to 7 hours and 30 minutes of battery life out of the device in tablet mode and about 10 hours in laptop mode.
