We may be a bit over a month away from the “Back to School” time frame, but Samsung is precocious when it comes to such offers. That’s why they’re debuting the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Student Editon these days.
The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 got the same treatment last year and its 10 inch version will roll out with a bundled Desktop Dock and Bluetooth keyboard. It will allow students to create content, share it and store documents, plus browse the web. The Student Edition is available in white for the first time in the US and it will come with the Polaris Office software for productivity purposes.
There’s also a bundled 1 year free subscription to 50 GB of DropBox storage, as well as 3 months of free Hulu Plus access. The product goes for $349.99, saving over $100 for the user. The device features a PLS TFT display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, stereo speakers, 16/32 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM, microSD and a 3.15 MP camera. It runs on a TI OMAP 4430 dual core CPU.
