It appears that the high end Snapdragon lineup that includes the likes of S600 and S800 is not only reserved to big brands, but also to the likes of Geak. Geak is a company that recently showcased a new phablet in Beijing, one called Mars and pictured below.

This 5.8 inch device packs a Snapdragon 600 quad core processor, the likes of which we find on the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One. Geak already had a device like this out, the Eye model with a MediaTek CPU, so this is certainly an improvement. The interesting bit is that the screen here is actually appealing, being a 5.8 inch Full HD panel made by Sharp and offering a pixel density of 377 ppi.

The CPU is at 1.7 GHz, it’s accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and we also get 16 GB of ROM and a 3200 mAh battery. This sounds like an excellent replacement for a Galaxy Note II and you should know that this phablet comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, DLNA, Miracast, NFC and a voice assistant, courtesy of a special Geak ROM.
