Back in March @evleaks leaked some specs for a new Huawei tablet called the MediaPad 7 Vogue, a low end device, that now makes the news again, this time with official FCC certification. The device just hit the FCC for a strip down and approval for commercial use.
Last we heard, this model was a low end Android slate with a 7 inch display supporting a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. It also has a 1.2 GHz quad core ARM Cortex A9 processor and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. 1 GB of RAM is on board, as well as microHDMI output and we’ll get to see the MediaPad 7 Vogue in 3 versions: WiFi only, WiFi + 3G and WiFi + 4G.
Bluetooth will also be included and we’ll also get a camera at the back of the device. Expect a low selling price, maybe even in the range of $150, although that’s wishful thinking on my part. It’s not yet clear if this model will also make phone calls, but it may just happen, making it a rival for the FonePad we’re testing these days.
