It’s possibly the week with the most canned devices, since we’ve just heard that LG’s first MeeGo phone (GW990) won’t make the cut and now the very talked about Microsoft Courier tablet also hits the trash can. This e-reader/tablet looked pretty interesting, although specialists avoided to call it an “iPad rival”.
Gizmodo says that Microsoft execs let the team working on the project know that the tablet is “no longer supported”, so this is pretty much the end of Courier. However, not all bets are off, since Project Pink was also considered dead at some point and we’ve seen the Microsoft Kin One and Two handsets getting announced a couple of weeks ago.
