MWC next month is the place where we expect Samsung to announce the new Galaxy Note device having an 8-inch screen. The device has been rumored a lot lately and we can finally get a better look at it courtesy of some first hands-on images.
Like we suspected, the Galaxy Note 8.0 bares resemblance to some of the other devices in the Note line-up. The unit showcased in the first hands-on images has a white casing with a preeminent camera module on the back. The 8-inch screen size seems a bit unnatural at a first glance but is easy to get used to it after a short while. Italian website dday.it is the first to get a hold of the first images showing the device in all its might.
As we previously informed you, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is powered by a quad-core 1.6 Ghz Exynos chip with 2 GB of RAM. The device comes running Android Jelly Bean out of the box which shoud provide a great experience on the 8-inch 1280 x 800 Super Clear TFT display. Samsung is expected to provide upgrades apps and improved S-Pen functionality along with features we can only guess. The device will be announced at MWC in Barcelona next month.
