Allview, the Romanian company that launched the AllDro Android tablet series with budget prices is now back with a fresh model, the AllDro 3 Speed T. This unit is much more original than its predecessors, since it combines the attributes of a tablet with the ones of a netbook.
AllDro 3 Speed T runs Android 4.0 ICS and features an IPS HD 9.7 inch screen with 4:3 aspect ratio. At first sight you’d say that this unit is a rival for the ASUS Eee Pad Slider and the price is not bad at all: around 300 euro. The main thing to mention here is that you can detach the keyboard dock and use the tablet by itself. This slate supports a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, uses a single core 1.2 GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. It provides 16GB of storage, microSD card slot and a Mali 400 MP GPU.
Other specs include WiFi b/g/n, 3G via USB modem, HDMI out, miniUSB and audio jack. Camera-wise you get a main 2MP sensor at the back and a front 0.3MP camera. Under the hood there’s a bit of a pleasant surprise: an 8000 mAh power source and the keyboard has a 1.600 mAh battery. The device measures 9.8mm and the keyboard is 10.5mm in thickness. This model comes with Bitdefender Mobile Security preinstalled and it’s available only in Eastern Europe for now.
