Eddy, a tablet designed for kids was launched today in India. This device is targeting kids aged between 2 and 10 years old and it’s focused on learing content, like games.



As the producer said, this is the first Android-powered learning tablet and it’s available at a great price, only Rs. 9.999 – $160 untill February 20. The kids tablet space has a potential of about 4.5 units”, “We expect to sell about 50,000 units in the first year”.

Eddy tablet packs a 7-inch screen, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB internal storage and a microSD card slot up to 32 GB. We also have a 3.200 mAh battery that should give you kid enough time of autonomy. With this device, children can learn to play the piano, read books, explore the world and the univers as well as practice math through games.
