Days before the Apple Tablet goes live, here comes the Asian maker Sungworld, with a MID that resembles the Apple iPad. The device runs Android and packs a 7 inch display, plus it comes with an “Apple-style user interface”, in the typical “cloned in China” fashion.
Sungworld’s MID is based on the ARM926 platform and it packs 512MB RAM, a 2GB SSD, WiFi support and compatibility with 1080p video. HDMI out is also on board and the availability is scheduled for the end of this month, or rather next month.
Pricing should be really cheap, considering that the company making this MID launched a $73 netbook last year.
