The PiPo W6 is an 8.9 inch Full HD tablet, with Windows 8.1 on board, that has just been detailed and pictured below. We’re dealing here with a pretty good looking model and frankly speaking, I haven’t seen many Windows tablets from PiPo lately.

The W6 is promoted as a device to watch videos on, play games and generally enjoy a diagonal in between a giant 10 incher and a too small 7 incher. The product runs Windows 8.1 as I said and its back texture somehow makes me think of leather imitation, like on the Galaxy Note 3 or 4. Inside the W6 there’s the Intel Bay Trail-T Z3735F quad core processor, as well as 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.

GPS also makes the cut, together with support for China Unicom 3G and the price tag for this model is $163, which is a big advantage. A microSD card slot is also in the mix, together with what looks like a solid metal frame. Expect more Windows 8.1 sub $200 tablets in the near future.
