After so many leaks concerning Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and Tab S7 Lite tablets, today we change tune and check out what Xiaomi has in stall for us. They’re prepping 3 Mi Pad 5 tablets apparently, with Snapdragon processors inside. Reliable sources from China have detailed these devices and we also got a GeekBench leak for one of them.

It’s also true that Xiaomi’s cofounder and CEO, Lei Jun already claimed that the company is making a Mi Pad series tablet. Now it’s known that there will be 3 models. All of them run on Android with MIUI on top and they’ll be based on Snapdragon 8 series CPUs. The “Enuma” and “Elish” codenamed tablets will have the Snapdragon SM8250 CPU inside, which could be a Snapdragon 865, 865+ or 870 chip. The “Nabu” model will have a SM8150 processor, which could be a Snapdragon 855, 855+ or 860 unit. An 8720 mAh battery is also associated to it.

All 3 tablets will bring a high quality WQXGA display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, plus a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Nabu will be 10.97 inches in diagonal, apparently. Enuma and Elish are expected to be two versions of the same device. The first one has 4G and 5G, the second one doesn’t. We’re also hearing that Xiaomi will create a fork from MIUI into a special MIUI Pad version, like Apple did with iPadOS. A recently leaked Mi Pad 5 poster reveals a rear camera design similar to the Mi 11 phone, a 16:10 aspect ratio, a LCD panel and high refresh rate.

Multi screen collaboration feature in the vein of the Huawei ones are expected here. We’re expecting full screen gestures, a Desktop mode and a dock bar.
