Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus was recently spotted with Android 9.0 Pie on board and probably with MIUI 10 as well. It appeared on GeekBench and we have more details about it below. This is supposed to be a large screen tablet and it appeared for now in benchmarks.
Xiaomi already debuted the 10.1 inch Mi Pad 4 Plus months ago, upgrading the standard Mi Pad 4. The device was updated to MIUI 10 based on Android Oreo and days later it also got updated with support for Xiaomi’s Xiao AI digital assistant. Now it seems that a new flavour of MIUI 10 is coming, based on Android 9.0 Pie. GeekBench shows midrange results for its tests, suited for a Snapdragon 660 machine.
It’s clocked at 2.2 GHz, but GeekBench only mentions a 1.8 GHz clock speed. Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus has 4 GB of RAM, a full metal body, a 10.1 inch IPS LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. There’s a 13 megapixel singular camera at the back and a 5 MP front facing shooter. Aside from Face Unlock, there’s also a fingerprint scanner integrated within the Home button right below the screen.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus integrates a pretty large 8620 mAh battery, which is supposed to offer up to 16 hours of video playback. On the connectivity front there’s WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS, Glonass and USB Type-C. Even 4G LTE makes the cut.
