Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is once again part of a leak, this time one in a more official capacity. The device was recently certified by the FCC and then quickly by the 3C, their equivalent in China. Let’s see what we know about it.

We’re probably dealing with an 8 incher yet again, unless Xiaomi wants to promote the device as a detachable with a solid keyboard. Well, that’s unlikely… Anyways, at the FCC, the device appeared under the codename M1806D9W courtesy of 91Mobiles. It also passed the 3C certification in China.

The FCC listing also shows a 5V/2A charge rating and the 3C one reveals dual band WiFi and Bluetooth, nothing out of the ordinary. A novelty would be switching to the Snapdragon 660 CPU, as rumored before. The product is expected to have a slim bezel, an 18:9 aspect and Full HD+ resolution. It should also bring a 6000 mAh battery and a 13 MP back camera.

I also expect a microSD card slot, 32 or 64 GB of storage, the latest MIUI and maybe once again a Windows version, aside from the Android one. Oreo is a must have of course, just like the slim metal body. This update is overdue, since the Mi Pad 3 debuted in April last year.
