The Xiaomi Mi Max’s debut was preceded by what seemed to be Xiaomi’s most massive teaser campaign ever and then the device launched, with somewhat modest specs. Now the same big phablet is ready for a debut in India, where it costs an excellent $222.
This product offers 32 GB of storage, 3 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, but there’s also a pricier version, with a Snapdragon 652 chip, 128 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. The Mi Max will be part of a flash sale period, that will start on July 6th. The specs of the Mi Max are very similar to the ones of the Redmi Note 3 actually.
This phablet also offers a metal unibody design, a fingerprint scanner at the back and it’s just 7.5 mm thin. It weighs 203 grams, which is huge for a smartphone, but OK for a phablet. In India, this product is bundled with a special offer from Hungama, that offers 3 months of free movies and one year of music.
Xiaomi Mi Max also provides a 16 megapixel back camera, 5 MP front shooter and a 4850 mAh battery.
