Without any fuss ViewSonic introduced its latest tablet to the market. The devices features a 9.7-inch display and is powered by an Intel CPU of the Atom class. The ViewSonic ViewPad97i Pro is a Windows 7 tablet.
ViewSonic ViewPad97i Pro is the Chinese manufacturer’s latest addition to its tablet devices lineup. The Windows 7 running device has a 9.7-inch 1024 x 768 pixel IPS capacitive display and is powered by an Intel Atom CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz. The device weighs in at about 2.2 pounds and measures 9.7″ x 7.5″ x 0.6″. Other features of the hardware configuration include 2GB of RAM, a 4900mAh battery, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera , 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth.
The ViewPad97i Pro features 2 USB 2.0 ports, a microSD card slot and a mini HDMI port. The product was launched in China earlier this month. Currently there is no info regarding a global launch and pricing details.
