US carrier Verizon announced today the debut of the Ellipsis 10 tablet, a 10 inch model with a large battery and Android 5.1 on board. The product is pictured below and obviously runs on Verizon’s 4G LTE.

The slate has a beveled edge design, as well as a soft touch back area, that’s both nice to look at and to hold. Upfront there’s a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 pixel screen and completing the visual experience is a solid acoustics system, with an amp included. Stereo speakers are also here, plus a 2 MP front camera and a main 5 MP shooter.

Ellipsis 10 is coated in anti fingerprint material and it also brings 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a huge 9100 mAh battery, that provides up to 24 hours of power.  That’s the most generous battery on a tablet in the carrier’s portofolio. Verizon offers this device at $199.99 with a new two year contract or $12.49 a month for 24 months.
