Verizon doesn’t sell many tablets, but there’s a new one coming, according to an Evan Blass leak. He showed on Twitter a render of the Verizon Ellipsis 10 HD device, that seems to be pretty believable. Let’s see what this slate is all about.
This is obviously a 10 inch tablet, as the name says and since this is part of the Ellipsis series, which is more of a midrange or entry level affair. No idea when this model is coming, especially since it’s been a long while since the last release of an Ellipsis model. That one came in November 2015, so maybe late fall is also the time frame for the new device.
The previous unit was priced at $199 upfront with contract, so a similar pricing may be applied here too. Since we don’t have specs, allow me to make some predictions, taking into account the specs of the predecessor. I predict a 10 inch Full HD screen here, a large capacity battery, maybe over 8000 mAh/9000 mAh and hopefully Android Nougat, but Marshmallow is also an option.
A 5 MP back camera, 2 MP front shooter and 16 or 32 GB of storage are here. 4G LTE should also be in the mix.
