After the iPad Pro 12.9 inch tablet, more and more producers are launching such huge devices on the market too, and the most recent example is Sharp. The Japanese company just announce the Aquos Famiredo, a 15.6-inch screen-device designed for indoor usage.
The slate you’re seeing above comes with a 15.6 display that offers a 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, a quad-core Rockchip 3188 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of storage + microSD card slot. In terms of connectivity we’re getting WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB v2.0 port. Aquos Famiredo also comes with a separate TV Tuner so you can watch your favourite content.
We get to know that the tablet offers IPX5/7 certification and a battery lifetime of almost 5 hours of usage. This device runs Android 4.4 KitKat and weighs around 1.9 kg. Even if its specs are not top-mark, the huge screen is the main attraction here. If you’re wondering how much this slate costs, well the answer is – $745.
