The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Korean source code has been released online and it’s based on Android 4.0.4 apparently. This release brings a new TouchWiz interface and thanks to this release developers could make new DEV ROMs for the Galaxy Note 10.1 and perhaps bring Jelly Bean to it faster than Samsung.
The source code is available here for download, in the SHW-M480K version and here in the SHW-M480S version. For those of you who don’t know, the Galaxy Note 10.1 was unveiled early this year, at first with a dual core CPU and modest specs like 1GB of RAM and other features and recently it got revamped to a quad core Exynos CPU, to include a stylus slot and 2GB of RAM. It has a 10.1 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 16GB of storage and a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash.
At the front there’s a 1.9 megapixel cam and the whole device is S Pen optimized. The device weighs 597 grams in the WiFi version and uses a Li-Ion 7000 mAh battery. Samsung just announced today the global availability of the device, in countries such as US, UK, Germany and Korea.
