Samsung Notebook 7 Spin (2018) was unveiled earlier this year at CES 2018, but you may have been left wanting more details about this rotatable machine. Samsung reveals extra tidbits in the video below, so let’s check it out.
The fresh clip details some of the device’s features, like the 10 point multi touch, side fingerprint scanner and more. This midrange notebook comes with Windows Hello, a 360 degree spin hinge and a generous battery. It’s shown interacting with a stylus and putting to work its 8th gen Intel quad core CPU. Windows Ink is also supported and the format looks rather versatile. I know you’ve been wondering, but here it is: yes, the keyboard is backlit.
This is a 13.3 inch laptop with a Full HD resolution, a multi touch display and it lets you use the trackpad or just a finger for interaction. The extended battery life comes courtesy of a 43 Wh battery, in tandem with a CPU that has great power management. Samsung also shows its new program called Studio Plus, which is basically a rival for Apple’s iMovie, meant for video editing and movie creation.
Security Folder is also available, as an extra security feature for the laptop. Expect its debut in Q1 2018, priced close to $800 like the predecessor, but that’s my own estimate, so don’t bet on it.
