Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is a pretty popular tablet for Samsung, so much so, that it has received a third version today. After the 2020 OG model and the 2022 refresh, ow we have one called Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024).
Somehow it debuted in Romania, where it’s listed on the company’s site. It keeps most features of the predecessors, but upgrades the CPU. The device packs a 10.4 inch IPS LCD display, with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution. There’s also a bundled S-Pen, as well as a 7040 mAh battery, plus there are both Wi-Fi and 4G versions of the product.
The new chipset inside is yet unknown, but we do know it’s an octa core unit with 2.4 GHz and 2.0 GHz cores. The 2022 model came in Snapdragon 732G and Snapdragon 720G versions, with 2.3 GHz and 1.8 GHz cores. Word through the grapevine is that the CPU here is an Exynos 1280. The basic RAM and storage versions are 4 GB and 64 GB, plus there’s a microSD card slot.
There will be a 128 GB model as well. The tablet runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 on top. The 2022 model only ran on Android 12 and One UI 4.0, which was updated to version 6.0 recently. The tablet has some extra appealing features, such as the 14 hours of video playback and 12/13 hours of web browsing. We have no idea about the charging speeds, but both previous models with 15W charges.
The device is available in Mint and Gray, but we don’t have a price yet. I expect anywhere between $300 and $400.
