Today Samsung officially annouced its new tablet called Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 that brings some top features and a S-Pen on board. This time the stylus has a magnetic attachment right on the back of the tablet. The pen adopts the same functions as the Note9, also serving as the remote control for taking pictures.
The tablet brings a 10.5 inch Super AMOLED screen with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. As you can see, the edges around the screen are neither thick nor very thin, a balance that contributes to a pretty look at first glance.
In the back there’s a dual-camera with a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 5-mpx secondary sensor for ultra-wide capture. Going on with the specs, Tab S6 has 4 speaker with AKG and Dolby Atmos technology for a top audio experience. Watching movies on this slate will be a delight.
Inside we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, Adreno 640 GPU and a 7040 mAh fast-charging 18W battery. The tablet has Samsung DeX support, an integrated UD fingerprint scanner and Dual-Band Wi-Fi connectivity. An LTE variant is also in working. Galaxy Tab S6 has a weight of 420 grams, respectively a thickness of only 5.7 mm.
The tablet comes in 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, respectively 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and is available in gray, blue or pink. The 6 GB RAM version is priced at $649, while the 8 GB RAM variant is $729. Galaxy Tab S6 will be available starting September.
