Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 was unveiled a few days before the Galaxy Note 10, but it was yet to go up for preorder, till today. The device now has a shipping date of September 6th. Let’s do a quick recap.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is a 10.5 inch Android slate with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The latter is rare to non existent on tablets nowadays. There’s also a high resolution screen here, 2560 x 1600 pixels and an in display fingerprint scanner. The device also works with an S-Pen, that has similar gestures and functions to the Note 9 stylus.
There’s also an optional keyboard cover, that Samsung sells separately. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is up for preorder right now via Samsung and Amazon. The product starts at $650, meaning this puppy is going to dry your credit card after the summer holiday. It’s definitely an iPad Pro rival, one that comes with quad speakers, a 13 MP + 5 MP dual camera and an 8 MP front shooter.
There’s also a 7040 mAh battery in the mix, with 15W fast charging. On the connectivity front we’ve got USB-C, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS. The above mentioned keyboard cover is priced at $180, but Samsung is giving a 50% discount for the people who order a Tab S6 by September 22nd. A 4G version is also coming later on.
