We had a vague idea of what Samsung was preparing for unveiling at IFA 2016, but today these new products are starting to appear more real. Aside from the Gear S3, which is pretty much confirmed for release in Berlin, the Galaxy Tab S3 slates are also happening.
At least that’s according to a post from Samsung’s Colombian branch, that confirmed the Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 at least. Their post mentions a high capacity CPU and “some innovations”. A previous leak of the product via TENAA also showed that there’s a Snapdragon 652 CPU on board, an 8 inch AMOLED screen with a 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution also makes the cut, plus 3 GB of RAM.
We’ve got 32 GB of native storage on offer, a microSD card slot and a main 8 MP camera. Then there’s a 2 MP front facing shooter and a 4000 mAh battery. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the OS of choice and we’ll also get a 9.7 inch version of the tablet.
If the predecessor is any sort of landmark, this model will also be very, very slim.
