Samsung has two new slates lined up, both with Super AMOLED displays and both with several leaks under their belt. The 10.5 inch model has been leaked more often and today we get to see some renders of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, courtesy of @evleaks.
This one is a Super AMOLED tablet with some very good specs and I’m guessing it will get a premium price tag to match those specs. This model adopts the back side perforated pattern of the Galaxy S5 and there were also rumors at some point we may get to see the fingerprint scanner integrated in the Home button here. The device has a camera with a flash at the back, it seems to be pretty slim and features a microSD card slot.
The bezel is slim and the device has the speakers placed at each side (when held in landscape). This model is said to adopt an 8.4 inch 2560 x 1600 pixel display, 32 GB of storage, an 8 megapixel camera at the back and a front 2.1 MP shooter. There’s Android 4.4 KitKat preinstalled here with the Magazine UX on top, although there are voices saying the Magazine US may have been left out. We’ll find out more on June 12th, when Samsung has a Premiere event scheduled.
