Today Samsung debuted in Russia two new tablets from the rumored Galaxy Tab A series, in a few sub versions of their own. For starters these are OLED slates with midrange specs and Samsung also debuted a budget offering for Malaysia, called Galaxy Tab 3 V.
We start with the Galaxy Tab A, that includes an 8 inch version and 9.7 inch one, with a starting price of $275 for the 8 incher. The price goes up to $340 for the 8 inch LTE model and it’s $340 for the WiFi 9.7 inch Galaxy Tab A. Finally, the LTE 9.7 inch Galaxy Tab A is available at $400. These devices move away from widescreen displays and they offer a 4:3 format and 1024 x 768 pixel resolution.
There’s a quad core CPU inside, clocked at 1.2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, a 5 MP back camera and 2 MP selfie shooter. 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and Lollipop are all in the mix. Then comes the Galaxy Tab 3 V, shown below and packing a 7 inch 1024 x 600 pixel display, a 1.3 GHz quad core CPU and 1 GB of RAM. It also 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a pair of 2 MP cameras and KitKat on board.
The price is $135.
