Various Samsung Galaxy tablets have been leaking over the past weeks, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), in a 7 inch flavour. Today we find that the device has been listed on the official Samsung Netherlands and Germany website.
Codenamed SM-T280, the device was made available by German retailer Conrad in black or white, priced at 169 euros. This model is listed with only 8 GB of storage, so it’s indeed an entry level tablet. It measures 8.7 mm in thickness, weighs 283 grams and it’s made of plastic. It also brings WiFi, a 5 MP back camera, 1.5 GB of RAM and a 4000 mAh battery.
The CPU inside is a quad core unit, clocked at 1.3 GHz and the screen supports a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. We also get a 2 MP front camera and a special Kids mode, advertised on the Samsung.com/de website. So, basically, the device has just been launched and should spread to all retailers on the globe soon.
