At MWC 2016 Lenovo brought both a series of high end laptops and convertibles, but also some lower cost Android slates, from the Tab3 series. From that range we find today the Lenov Tab3 10 Business, that gets an FCC teardown.
This reveals its components and innards, pictured in this article. We’re dealing with a 10 incher, the Business version of the highest end unit from the Tab3 series. It offers a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, plus a 1.3 GHz MediaTek quad core processor and a 7000 mAh battery. Its starting price is $199 for the WiFi only model with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
If you want to take it up a notch, there’s the 3 GB RAM, 64 GB storage model with 4G LTE at $299. The FCC listing has the WiFi unit codenamed TB3-X70F, while the 4G one is Lenovo Tab3 Business TB3-x70L. All these models have in common two cameras, a microSD card slot and rear stereo speakers.
