Samsung just debuted a new tablet in India, the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 slate with 4G. It goes by the codename SM-T285 and it has the 4G support and voice calling as selling points. Of course, the sub $150 price tag is also a big plus.

This is supposed to be one of the successors of the Galaxy Tab A 2016 and it comes with a 7 inch WXGA display, as well as a quad core 1.5 GHz processor. We find a 5 MP back camera here, plus a 2 MP front shooter. The new Tab A has a physical Home button and two capacitive buttons upfront and while the 2016 unit debuted with Android 5.1, this one is all about Nougat.

The buyers in India will receive a Kids Mode with Parental Control, which lets the parents restrict usage time and access to various apps. The device’s specs include a 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 4000 mAh battery. It all measures 8.7 mm in thickness and weighs 286 grams. GPS, Glonass and Bluetooth 4.0 are also here.

Available in black or white, the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 goes for $149 and it’ll be sold in retail stores from tomorrow.
