Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 just took off in Indonesia, that seems to love such gadgets, with the stock of the new slate being depleted in 7 hours. That’s right, the product was sold out in a less than a day’s working hours. Keep in mind that this is the first Asian country to get the slate!

Usually it’s the home land of Samsung, South Korea that gets such privileges, but now Indonesia got them. 1,200 units were moved on day one at the Pacific Place Mall in Jakarta, Indonesia. Thanks to the Galaxy Tab and now this model, Samsung reached a 65% tablet market share in Asia, that’s very impressive, considering the iPad… exists!

We’ll see if the percentage changes once the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and the iPad 3 are out…
