Samsung Galaxy Note started off as that weird little gadget that was both a tablet and a phone and now seems to have gathered enough fans to generate 1 million sold units all over the globe. This 5.3 inch device is also coming to the USA soon, according to the people close to the matter. I have to mention that this device debuted in late October and it was well received in Europe and Asia.
Countries such as France, Germany, Taiwan and Hong Kong pushed the Note to fame, through important sales. Samsung has just released these figures showing 1 million units sold and now we’re preparing for the USA debut, unless Apple has something to say on that matter. No info on the release date, but what’s sure is that the debut in the States will certainly increase the sales figures greatly. Let me remind you that this is a 5.3 inch slate with phone calling abilities, a great 8 megapixel camera and powerful dual core processor.
The resolution of the screen is 1280 x 800 pixels and the camera is able to do 1080p capture, in case you’re wondering. The device measures 9.7mm in thickness, it weighs 178 grams and the screen I keep telling you about is based on Super AMOLED technology. Android 2.35 is the OS of choice here, but Android Ice Cream Sandwich was promised as an update…
