Samsung Galaxy Note II just got a fresh update to Android 4.1.2, JZO54K version, that brings a bunch of interesting features. You get new additions in notification toggles and the notification panel can now be customized. There’s also a brightness slider in the notification panel, that can be disabled.
Multi View can also be disabled and the browser is smoother than before. The status bar has changed from grey to black and there’s input in the Samsung keyboard that resembles Swype and the Android 4.2 keyboard. There’s also that new Ink effect in the lockscreen, that you can watch in action in the video below. Finally Android 4.1.2 brings with it a new group cast application.
Expect a few bugs to be present in the software, since it’s a pre-release version and it’s not available from Kies anymore. You can get the full download and installation instructions on Sammobile. Did you try and test it? Any other goodies included?
