Samsung’s MWC 2017 event is going to be about tablets and two of them are pretty much a done deal: Galaxy Tab S3 and the Samsung TabPro S2. However, there could be a third model, tentatively named Samsung Galaxy Book. It already leaked once and now it does it again.
Samsung filed a trademark for a “Galaxy Book” in 2012, so it’s been long time coming. The newcomer is said to have an AMOLED screen, pen support and a battery life extender feature, that will limit the max charge to 85%. Other details about the device have surfaced hours ago, mentioning that the product will offer LTE support and its S Pen will bring all the cool features of the Note series, including an eraser and support for Samsung’s Air Command.
The function activates when the stylus is removed from the holder and displays a panel of options and functions. It can also activate when hovering the stylus over the screen and pressing the S Pen button. Air Command includes functions like Samsung Notes, Samsung Select and Screen Write. The leak also mentions something about the Samsung screen Dimming feature.
This function lets the device’s front facing camera detect the user and keep the backlight on. If we don’t see this product at MWC, we could see it at Computex or IFA.
