If you intend to buy a Kia K9 in the near future, you’ll discover that there’s a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 slate bundled with the car. Also, if you preorder the vehicle, that will be released in June odds are that you’ll get a special edition Galaxy Tab 10.1 that’s specially crafted for early adopters.

The usual tablet features of the original 10.1 inch model are here and the device serves to guide the new buyers around the car. It gives a quick tour of what’s happening under the hood and around the dashboard area, plus all the safety and performance involved. Of course, the slate can be used as a GPS navigation tool and media player while you’re in the car. For those who don’t know, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 measures 8.6mm in thickness, weighs 565 grams and has a 7000 mAh battery with 9 hours of functioning time in video mode and 72 hours in music mode.

The device sports a 10.1 inch widescreen display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution (TFT LCD), 149 pixels per inch density and 4 way rotation. It has HSPA+ connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 3MP back camera with 720p capture and a 2MP front camera. Honeycomb is the OS of choice with that slow TouchWiz UI messing it up…
