Samsung’s Note line-up is still to find a competitor by another manufacturer for the features it brings. HTC was among the few rumored to have in the works a competitor for the Galaxy Note devices but it later proved to be false as the manufacturer chose a more conventional approach with their 5-inch recently launched handset – the HTC Droid DNA.
Due to the competition failing to deliver a close or better productivity oriented device then Samsung’s Note smartphones and tablet, the first Note smartphone thrived and managed to be one of the best handsets available on the market. Later the manufacturer decided the S-Pen should work wonders on a tablet, thus the Galaxy Note 10.1 was born.
This year we got two new Samsung Note devices and on top of the Note 10.1 tablet, the manufacturer also launched the Galaxy Note II phablet, featuring some impressive specs and a huge number of improvements over the previous generation. The device has had a strong marketing device behind it and it so looks that Samsung is going to go even further. The preeminent German car manufactuer – BMW – has been asked to join the Galaxy Note II marketing campaign. models of the BMW Series 1 have been painted with graffiti done by Shin Dong-jin, a famous designer and artist. All the work was done using the Note II’s S-Pen and its and advanced stylus capabilities. It will be showcased in Seoul at any point through December 12, in the Coex Central Plaza.
