The Samsung Galaxy Tab S models have already leaked, so there’s no surprise here, but today we uncover a batch of official looking slides showcasing the device’s special features. I’ll have to remind you that next month Samsung has an event scheduled to unveil these 8.4 inch and 10.5 inch tablets with Super AMOLED displays.
The slides show us the Ultra Power Saving mode and fingerprint sensor, both features borrowed from the Galaxy S5. The first one makes the screen go monochrome and stops some of the device’s features, in order to save a huge amount of battery. The second feature is a biometric unlock method, based on your fingerprint. Authentication is done via a sensor, hidden below the Home button.
Magazine UX is also shown in these slides, with full functionality, so here’s yet another reason for Google to be angry with Samsung. As far as I can see, the notification area UI looks a bit like the one of the Galaxy S5 and not the Galaxy NotePro or TabPro series. All we need now is a list of prices…
