There’s a new 10.1 inch tablet in town, an Intel Cherry Trail model with Windows 10 on board, a pretty typical hardware setup if you ask me. The thing is that this model is more of a 2 in 1 affair, as it only feels complete with a keyboard attached. It’s dubbed the NuVision Duo 10 and I have to admit I haven’t heard of this brand till now.
Apparently they made the news a while ago by launching a Full HD tablet priced at just $99. Now they’re back with a $299 product, that relies on an Intel Chery Trail x5-Z8300 Cherry Trail chipset, 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and WiFi 802.11ac. There’s also Bluetooth 4.0 here, an USB Type C port, two USB 2.0 ports and a micro HDMI as well.
The slate has a 5 megapixel back camera, a 2 MP front shooter and a fingerprint scanner integrated next to the touchpad from the keyboard. NuVision Duo 10 offers a 1280 x 800 pixel res on an IPS panel and we also get a stylus to work with this panel. What sets this device apart from other Cherry Trail Win 10 tablets are the finger scanner, stylus and keyboard inclusion in the bundle.
The product is available on the Microsoft Store.
