If you loved the Nokia Pro Cam and Smart Cam app, you know that the Nokia can really deliver when it comes to applications. Now there’s a new one, focused on video editing this time and available exclusively on the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet.
The app is called Nokia Video Director and it’s ideal for people who want to make stylish little clips. Imagine an iMovie rival and you’ll get an idea of what we’re dealing with here. All you need to do is pick the videos and images you want to use, then a style from a bunch of templates and then add the end and start frames.
Obviously, it’s less complex than iMovie and rather on par with HTC Zoe if you want a forced comparison. One can preview the edited video to make sure it’s all OK and then you can either maker changes or finalized it. There are different quality settings available for the videos and there’s also a Windows Phone 8 companion app here, that allows you to transfer pics and vids from a Lumia phone to a Lumia 2520 tablet.
Just like it happened with other cool Nokia apps, I expect this to someday come to other Windows RT or Win 8 slates.
