Samsung surely has a tablet or two prepared for unveiling at IFA 2016 in 3 weeks, so it’s no wonder such models keep leaking. The latest to do so is a 9.7 inch model, that has reached the FCC and it’s detailed below.
The product may well be the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 inch LTE unit. What we know for sure right now is that we’re dealing with a 9.7 inch 4:3 device, with support for Bluetooth 4.2 LE and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. There’s GPS on board, as well as LTE and the CPU is clocked at 1.6 GHz. We get a camera, although the details on that are scarce and there’s also an audio jack.
Those are all details from the filing that also mentions a 237.1 x 168.8 mm size. No trace of RAM, actual CPU identity or storage. It’s very likely that this will be Samsung’s very first USB Type C tablet. An 8 inch version and WiFi only variants of this model should be in the making. Expect more leaks!
