Meet the MSI MS-N0J1… Have no idea what it is? It’s a mystery Android tablet that has just reached the FCC. This is 10 inch slate that has yet to be announced and all we know about it is that it’s made by MSI. Pricing and availability aren’t available yet, but this looks like a budget model with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The device’s specs include a 10 inch 1024 x 768 pixel display, a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 8GB of storage. The documents also show that on board you’ll find 2 mini USB connectors, a headphone jack, a mini HDMI port and a microSD card reader, plus a microphone and stereo speakers. Webcams are optional, both at the front and rear, so this may end up being a white box model sold under a different brand name in the future. If we’re to see it in the US, it may be branded with a carrier’s name or maybe another company’s logo.

MSI usually makes its own laptops, tablets, PCs and components, especially motherboards and graphics cards. However, they’re also a pretty big ODM that makes products for other companies, so this may be the case here. What do you think? Is there still room for Gingerbread tablets on the market?
