The device uses a high color contrast 11.6 inch wide angle IPS screen with 350 lumen brightness and 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. The 10 point multitouch screen offers smooth and responsive operation and there’s a brushed metal plate here at the back for a more elegant look. The MSI W20 3M measures 0.99 cm in thickness and weighs 688 grams.

Inside we find the AMD dual core A4-1200 APU and the Radeon HD 8180M graphics kernel, that supports DirectX 11 and has great 3D capabilities. MSI promises 9 hours of battery life and other specs include 2 GB of DDR3 RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 720p front camera and a microSD card slot, plus fingerprint recognition.

I’m glad we’re seeing more AMD processors inside Windows 8 tablets. I boycott Intel for their support of animal research through the high school science competition.
