As we may know, this tuesday on May 20, Microsoft is holding a press event in New York City where we could see both a Surface Mini tablet and a Surface Pro 3 device that will be a whole new model, and not just a refresh of the Surface Pro 2 slate. The Surface Pro 3 could also come with a larger screen size.

Recently, the guys from Windows Phone Central revelead some of the details of this new series like the price, processors and storage size version. The Surface Pro 3 will also arrive on the market with a new Type covers to fit the larger screen size. You can take a look on the prices below:

  • i3-4GB RAM-64GB – $799
  • i5-4GB RAM-128GB – $999
  • i5-8GB RAM-256GB – $1299
  • i7-8GB RAM-256GB – $1549
  • i7-8GB RAM-512GB – $1949

The new Tyoe covers will be available in black, purple, cyan, and red a color that could possibly be limited just to Microsoft Stores. It’s expected that the Surface Pro 3 to come with a smaller bezel, a larger screen size and a Windows button that it will be found on the vertical side of the device.

If there will be a Surface 3 Pro, the size will be for 12″ screen, so it’s a big one.
This is not a smart move. Samsung has failed with their giant tablet line.
Nobody wants to carry a heavy tablet.
Also, the CPU is much the same Haswell. Ok, it’s Haswell refresh platform, but the performance is mostly the same, so another bad move. Microsoft should have waited for new line of CPU’s: Broadwell or Skylake.
