Mediacom has released a new 10 inch tablet, or better said hybrid, since it can also get a detachable keyboard in the mix. This is a Windows-based slate with an Intel processor at its core. This model will hit the stores this month, priced at 259 euros.

The price tag includes the keyboard and the MediaCom WinPad 10.1 X201 packs a 10.1 inch IPS screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Inside there’s an Intel Atom Z353F quad core processor, clocked at 1.8 GHz and accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The front and back cameras are both 2 MP units and there’s also a microSD card slot with support for up to 64 GB cards.

A SIM slot is also here, for the sake of 3G connectivity and there’s a 7000 mAh battery in the mix too. MediaCom WinPad 10.1 X201 has Bluetooth 4.0 support, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, a micro HDMI and a micro USB 2.0 port too. That detachable keyboard adds two extra micro USB 2.0 ports and the whole product weighs 1.1 kg, with the slate being half of that.
