Just announced two days ago, the Lenovo Yoga A12 tablet is already on sale via Amazon, priced at just $299. Why get excited about this product? Well, because it’s basically a cheaper Lenovo Yoga Book and we were pretty impressed by that model when we reviewed it.

Of course, since the price is lower in this case, the Lenovo Yoga A12 cuts some specs, like the RAM, now available in 2 GB quantity instead of 4 GB. We also get less storage, 32 GB in this case, while the screen goes from a Full HD resolution to HD only. The core device remains the same, with a 12.2 inch diagonal, the very appealing touch surface for input and an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor.

The Halo Keyboard offers haptic feedback and this 2 in 1 model has the ability to rotate at 360 degrees with no problem. It’s very slim, at 10.9 mm and weighs less than 1 kg. This machine is also expected to offer up to 13 hours of battery life, which is excellent for this format. Available in rose gold or gunmetal gray, the product runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and should make any student happy, since they seem a target audience for the tablet.

Of course drawing and scribbling on the touch area is great fun. You can buy the tablet from here.
