After quite a few weeks of teasing, leaks and more, today the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.6 tablet was launched in China. It’s a high end device with an AMOLED screen, fast charging and elegant design. We have more details below.

Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.6 is a premium Android tablet with a metal body design and a dual tone finish. The product measures 285.61 x 184.53 x 5.63 mm, which means it’s very slim and weighs 565 grams. On board we find quad JBL branded speakers with Dolby Atmos support. There are two at the top and two at the bottom. On the bottom we also find an USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 port.

For security we have an embedded fingerprint sensor in the Power key on the right side. On the left side there’s a magnetic pogo pin connector for the keyboard accessory, as well as a microSD card slot. The second gen Xiaoxin stylus can be magnetically placed at the back side, where it also charges. Upfront we find a 12.6 inch Samsung E4 AMOLED panel with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz touch sampling rate. The panel has a 10.000.000:1 contrast ratio, 600 nits top brightness and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

It also offers HDR standard support, like HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Inside we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The UI is atypical a flavour called ZUI 13 for Pad on top of Android 11. On the connectivity front we get Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Camera-wise, there’s a dual cam at the back, with a main 13 MP shooter and 5 MP ultrawide unit.

Even the front side includes a dual cam setup, with an 8 MP shooter and a ToF sensor for Face unlock. The battery sounds pretty impressive, at 10.200 mAh with support for 45W charging. The device is priced at $672, but it will b sold at $578 for a limited time till November 10th. Accessories will be available soon, with a $62 price for th Xiaoxin Stylus and $101 for the Xiaoxin Pad 12.6 Keyboard.
