For a while there Motorola kept denying they were going to make tablets, saying that they don’t want to cramp Lenovo’s style, but now it’s happening. There’s a new Moto tablet in town, the 10.1 inch Moto Tab, that’s available on AT&T priced at $300.
The product becomes available starting with November 17th and you can either buy it for $300 outright or pay $15 per month over 20 months, via an installment plan. The tablet comes with a Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot in the mix and a 7000 mAh battery.
There are stereo speakers here, a fingerprint scanner and an USB Type-C port too. As you can see in the pics, there’s an extra accessory that hooks up to the device, like a big speaker. AT&T and Lenovo offer here optional accessories like a “Productivity Pack”, that includes a Bluetooth keyboard and folio case, plus a “Home Assistant Pack”, that’s a 3 watt speaker with dual mics and possibly an intelligent assistant.
The Assistant Pack is actually a familiar face, since it has already debuted earlier this year as the Lenovo Home Assistant Pack, at $80. And speaking of familiar things, the Moto Tab is a rebranded Lenovo Tab 4 Plus with a 10.1 inch screen basically.
